The WonderCon Anaheim 2018 press application and badge registration periods are closed. Onsite consideration will be available but is not guaranteed.
WonderCon Anaheim 2018 press badges will be sent in advance to the badge shipping address in your Comic-Con Member ID account. The last day to update your shipping address is February 20, 2018.

To determine your press verification status, log in to your Comic-Con Member ID account. If you are returning or approved press, click on the “Press” tab to find your current verification status; DUE or NOT DUE (see examples to the left). If you are a first-time press applicant or your press application was denied, no “Press” tab or verification status will be displayed.
If your press verification status is NOT DUE:
WonderCon Anaheim 2018 press badge registration closed on Friday, February 16, 2018. If you would still like to attend WonderCon Anaheim 2018 as a member of the press, please visit the Press Desk in Hall D of the Anaheim Convention Center during public convention hours. Please make sure to have your Comic-Con Member ID ready, and a valid photo ID, to register onsite for a press badge.
Onsite press registrants will not be included in the official WonderCon Anaheim 2018 Press List.
If your press verification status is DUE, if you are applying as press for the first time, or if you are a returning member of the press who needs to update your outlet/company information:
The deadline to apply was February 9, 2018. Onsite consideration will be available but is not guaranteed. Please download and carefully read the “WonderCon Anaheim 2018 Press Guidelines” PDF below. You must submit your online press application and supporting verification materials prior to arriving for onsite consideration. Print out a copy of your "WonderCon Anaheim 2018 Press Application Received" email and bring it with you onsite to enter the Anaheim Convention Center. We will review your submitted application and supporting verification materials at the Press Desk, located in Hall D of the Anaheim Convention Center, during public convention hours. Onsite press registrants will not be included in the official WonderCon Anaheim 2018 Press List.
There is no guarantee that you will be approved for a WonderCon Anaheim 2018 press badge. Please keep in mind that WonderCon Anaheim will not be selling attendee badges onsite this year, so if you are not approved as press onsite, you will not have the option to purchase a badge.
WonderCon Anaheim Press Terms & Conditions
Approved and NOT DUE press must register online each year they plan to attend. Press must submit verification materials every two years, unless requested earlier by WonderCon Anaheim. Returning press who need to update company/outlet information in their Comic-Con Member ID account must submit an application for review before the deadline. Approved freelance applicants will only be valid for the year applying.
A WonderCon Anaheim press badge is good for entry to all of the events held at WonderCon Anaheim (space permitting). The WonderCon Anaheim press badge, however, does not allow for early entry into the Exhibit Hall, programming rooms, official WonderCon Anaheim events. However, it does not guarantee seating. Please keep in mind that press registration is a courtesy and a WonderCon Anaheim press badge is non-transferable. You may not transfer or sell your WonderCon Anaheim press badge. A complimentary press badge does not allow for plus ones, guests, or child badges. A press badge has no monetary value and you are not entitled to a refund of any amount for your complimentary press badge. Duplicate badges of any type are not allowed.
Registered press members are prohibited from entering the Exhibit Hall prior to 11:30 AM on Friday, March 23, 2018 or during closed Exhibit Hall hours. There are no exceptions. Any pictures taken within the Exhibit Hall prior to 11:30 AM on Friday, March 23, 2018 and posted for public viewing, will result in the forfeiture of a WonderCon Anaheim press badge.
Because of a variety of rules governing the Anaheim Convention Center and WonderCon Anaheim, wheeled carts or handcarts are not allowed in the convention center. Additionally, camera crews, while free to roam the center, cannot set up equipment in a fixed manner (i.e. tripods, lights, chairs, etc.).
Members of the press that want to videotape, film, and/or record any matter that will be used for commercial purposes (non-news) must first obtain written permission from Comic-Con International/WonderCon Anaheim as well as permission of the panel participants. Live streaming at WonderCon Anaheim and/or posting more than 15 minutes of a panel is not permitted without prior consent from WonderCon Anaheim. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request the appropriate consents along with detailed information regarding your interest in recording at WonderCon Anaheim.
PLEASE NOTE: Names, outlets, titles, country, and email addresses of registered WonderCon Anaheim 2018 press will be made available to studios, exhibitors, programming participants, etc., prior to the convention (WonderCon Anaheim 2018 Press List).
As always, the issuance of a press badge is at the sole discretion of Comic-Con International/WonderCon Anaheim. Please be respectful of all attendees. A WonderCon Anaheim press badge is provided as a courtesy to cover the event. WonderCon Anaheim does not tolerate coverage that includes stunt type events, ambush interviewing or any sort of action that could make any attendee feel unsafe or uncomfortable. All registered members of the press must comply with Comic-Con's Code of Conduct and all other convention policies.
